I am really getting excited to do my country christmas concert in Wingham on December 8th.

It will be my final concert of the year and it will give me chance to wish my fans Merry Christmas in Person.

It is also great that I will have my daughter Candace with me to sing as well. Everyone knows just how great

she is, and I am not saying that just because she is my daughter.

Today the weather has been not too bad, and when the sun shines it makes everyone feel so great.

I know that I have to get used to the cold weather coming but I can pretend it is warm for a wee bit longer.

Today would have been my mother's birthday, and I wish she was still here with me. I know that she is around me in Spirit because I know that she loved me too e too much to leave me completely, and not to mention she knows I need her and so she makes sure she is handy just in case.

Mom I just want everyone to know how much I loved you and still do. Just because you are no longer living, doesn't mean that I have forgotten you. Love never dies so you will live forever in my heart. Kisses and hugs to you all the time. Give Dad and Truman a gig hug and kiss to mom, I miss them both so much.

COUNTRY CRUISE 2008 CANCELLED (view original)

Well guess what, the cruise has been cancelled. I am sooooooooooooo upset with that, because I was really looking forward to going, but it looks like folks were just not as interested in the ports of call this year as the ones last year.

I cannot say that I am totally surprised with that though, because Hounduras and Belize as well as the Mayan area of Mexico was hit quite hard by the hurricane season so folks were reluctant to go to those ports of call. I was looking forward to them because I had never been to Honduras, but had been to the others and liked them. Oh well, hopefully there will be another year down the road.

It is really a dismal rainy day out there and makes me feel really down, not to mention that I have picked up a cold again so am a bit dizzy. LOL

Hey all,

I cannot wait to go on that cruise again coming up in January.

Haven't heard from many of you as to whether you are going this year or not.

John and I are going to celebrate our 40th anniversary on the ship a bit early.

Our anniversary isn't until April 20th, but we just cannot pass up the opportunity

to celebrate while on the ship.
